The lectionary has been running consecutively through mark 9 and 10 the past four weeks, but it skips 10:32-34 just before today’s lesson. I suspect these verses are omitted because they repeat what jesus had already said in previous week’s lectionary readings of 8:31 and 9:31 where jesus predicts his suffering, death, and resurrection.
